It is fair enough to say Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the Europe. No matter the famous Charles Bridge, the Prague Castle, or the medieval buildings along the streets attract millions of tourists every year. It is a city of arts, history and love.

For those who travel with partners, it will be an impressive and romantic experience to start their journey in Charles Bridge, watching the sunrise in the early morning.

The Charles Bridge, built in 1357, spans the river Vltava with 16 pillars. The splendid statues and lamps crossing the bridge, along with the Gothic towers on both ends, make the bridge a breath-taking monument. What’s more, the painters’ paintings, vendors’ glittering goods and musicians’ live performance, mixed with tourists’ laughter, all add vitality to the historical bridge.
The Old Town Square is also a must see in Prague. Only five to ten minutes from the Charles Bridge, the square is packed with terraces, restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops and galleries. After a half day’s walking, sitting in a pavement café, listening to the Astronomical Clock striking on time, the fragrance of coffee and the warmth of sunshine will smooth you and take all your fatigues away.

After finishing the trip and having a nice lunch in Old Town Square, let’s take the subway to the other side of the river, where the Prague Castle located. It is the most popular visit spot in the city. It is the largest ancient castle in the world, covering 7.28 hectares.

The history of the Prague Castle can date back to 9th century, when Prince Bořivoj started to construct it. There are loads of worth-visiting monuments in the castle, including the St. Vitus Cathedral, the most important and the largest church in Prague.

It is also a brilliant idea to admire the fantastic overlook of Prague from the castle. A nice meal makes a trip more absorbing. The traditional Czech food usually consists of pork, sausage, and bread dumplings. And of course, you can not miss Czech beer and also other food from all over the world in the city.

After a day’s journey, there is still a lot we can enjoy at night, like wandering around the medieval streets, having fun in a Czech pub, or watching Czech’s world-famous Black Light Theatre. You’ll find yourself in love with this city.
